The jewel of the South Pacific!. Most yachts skip Samoa and follow a more southerly route via Palmerston, or bypass Samoa when departing American Samoa. Big mistake, take the time to visit this lovely island with it's friendly people.

Whilst in shelter Bay waiting to transit the Panama Canal, we visited the Embera Indian Village somewhere in the jungle.

When Elaine's in the mood for sailing but happens to be at work in the dry and dusty city of Phoenix, this video usually produces a smile and a mental countdown of the days remaining until our next sailing holiday.
