With the rain and strong winds arriving last night as forecast, neither of us got much sleep before 0200 this morning.  Fortunately things settled down a little after that, which meant a well deserved sleep-in and lazy morning.

We did, however, have a visit from Raya (Ros and Rick), who we haven't seen since leaving New Zealand, but who arrived in the anchorage late yesterday afternoon.  In fact,  it was only after we were back on Paw Paw and had raised the dinghy, following our walk yesterday afternoon, that Roy piped up when he noticed an Oyster, flying the UK Blue Ensign, floating to our port side. Although we couldn't see the yacht name, even after getting the binoculars out, we wondered if it wasn't Raya, since there aren't too many Oysters floating around flying a Blue Ensign. So, Elaine decided to send Ros a Facebook message and, lo and behold, it was indeed them.

After a brief chat to Ros and her son, who canoed over to us this morning, we're hoping to catch up with them properly sometime tomorrow.

In the interim, we enjoyed another walk along the beach this afternoon after the rain stopped and then happy hour at the Nanuya Island Resort, where we met Two Up (Roxy and Justin), who happened to be anchored just in front of us.

Roy also took advantage of the lazy day, first to present Elaine with a coconut refreshment, while she lounged in her cabin enjoying her latest book and then he cracked out his fishing rod.  Unfortunately, dinner this evening did not include fish. Lets hope he has better luck tomorrow!
