In order to get a rough idea of how many consecutive 24-hour sailing days we will have on a particular leg, divide the nautical miles by 6.5 and then by 24 e.g. ((815 NM / 6.5 Knots) / 24 Hours) = ~5.25 days.

American Samoa July 2016


A quick one week visit to American Samoa. A wonderful clean city of Pago Pago spoilt by the stinking dirty anchorage.



Touring Samoa August 2016


The jewel of the South Pacific!. Most yachts skip Samoa and follow a more southerly route via Palmerston, or bypass Samoa when departing American Samoa. Big mistake, take the time to visit this lovely island with it's friendly people.
