When a tropical disturbance resulted in a tropical wave and northerly swell thus forcing us to change our passage plan, we headed for St Barthelemy. We spent two nights in a secluded bay called Anse de Columbier which is only accessible by boat or a hike from the Atlantic Ocean seaside town of Flamands. After enjoying the hike into Flamands, walks on the beautiful white sandy beaches and a BBQ on Paw Paw under a beautiful full moon, we headed for the "city lights" - Gustavia, to enjoy cocktails dockside.
